A flaming homeless person came out of the dark right now?

Said camera-man Hud from the Cloverfield (CF) movie. I have mixed feelings about CF. It was a monster movie and it establishes that pretty damn well. I found the monster to be a little boring, however the creepers I thought were awesome and much more entertaining.

I also went into the movie expecting the monster to be something more Cthulu like in appearance after reading some speculation on the interweb. Which would have been awesome.

Apparently there are somethings i missed.
1. Some audio after the credits
2. Something falling into the water a month before?

Also if anybody knows what that foreign dude was saying to Hud in another language, I think that might be a clue to something. But thats just me.
